ST. ANDREW’S HOSPICE BUNGEE JUMP – 28th JULY 2024

Donald Jarvie is doing a bungee jump on 28th July to raise funds for St Andrew's Hospice, in memory of his dad who died peacefully in their exceptional care last year. HOLIDAY CLUB INFORMATION –

The following holiday clubs are taking place over the next 2 weeks.

CALDERBANK CHURCH – MONDAY 22nd JULY

“Wonder Zone”: four mornings (Mon - Thurs)  for Primary Age children to enjoy a Holiday Club together, making connections between science and faith. At Calderbank Church Hall, 10.30 - 12.30 from Monday 22nd. There is no cost. Everyone is welcome!

CAIRNLEA CHURCH – MONDAY 29th JULY

"On your marks!" Picking up from the Olympics and how sport and faith connect, a Holiday Club for Primary Age children on the five mornings in the week beginning Monday 29th, 10.30 - 12.30 daily. At Cairnlea Church. There is no cost. Everyone is welcome!

SITUATIONS VACANT:

Following a recent meeting of the Communications Group, we are looking for help in a couple of areas:

NEWSLETTER SUB-EDITOR:  This role is to assist George Randall, Editor to collate and collect articles from groups for inclusion within the Newsletter.  If you are interested and wish to know more of what the job might entail, please contact George whose details can be found on the Newsletter 

SOCIAL MEDIA:  The Congregation has accounts with Facebook and Instagram.  At the moment, these are updated by Eleanor.  In an effort to improve our Facebook and Instagram presence going forwards, the group are looking for one or two people to help upload posts etc. related to the congregation and groups.  If you have skills in this area and are interested in finding out more information – please speak to Eleanor in the first instance.
