HARVEST FLOWERS –
A total of 42 bunches of flowers were distributed to the housebound and infirm within our church family following our Harvest Thanksgiving Service on Sunday 5th October. Many thanks to those who, donated, sorted, delivered and cleared up – this was greatly appreciated.

FOODBANK DONATIONS
Our collections for the foodbank continue – items urgently required for this week are the following – porridge, cereal, UHT milk and diluting juice.

ELEANOR HAMILTON - SERVICE of INDUCTION
A 29 seater Coach has been organised to take those signed up to attend Eleanor’s Induction in Dumbarton on Tuesday, 11th November at 7:00p.m..
The coach will leave AIRDRIE from the CHURCH promptly at 5p.m..
The return journey from Dumbarton will leave sometime between 9:00p.m. and 9:30p.m., returning to the Church.
The cost per person is £10.00 – payable to David Walker.
There are still 6 seats available on the coach, if you wish to attend please advise David Walker – first come first served basis for remainder of seats.

ADVANCE NOTICE - SONGS OF PRAISE FOR CHRISTIAN AID
As previously intimated, there will be a Songs of Praise service at Jackson Church on Sunday 2nd November at 2.30pm.
At this service, hymns, chosen by members of Airdrie congregations, will be sung. There will be tea and coffee afterwards. This act of worship is being organised by the Airdrie Christian Aid Committee, which has raised money over the years to help the world’s poorest people. There will be an opportunity to donate to Christian Aid at this service. ALL WELCOME .
