The funeral service for MRS. JOAN BOOTH will take place in the Church at 1:30p.m. and thereafter to HOLYTOWN CREMATORIUM for 2:30p.m..
The Choir resumes rehearsals for the new session in the Session Room at 7:30p.m.. The Choir is always on the look-out for new members – if you are interested, why not come along and join us for an evening – you will be made most welcome.

The In Stitches craft group resume for the new session in the session room from 10:00a.m. until 12 Noon. If you are interested – please come along, you will be made most welcome.
The Senior Circle resume after the holidays and have their meeting in the Session Room. Tea/coffee and a chat from 1.30p.m. -2:00p.m. The speaker on this occasion is our Locum Minister - the Rev. Les Brunger.

During September, the Church celebrates Creation Time. We have received an invitation from the folks at St. Columba’s to join with them between 1:30p.m. and 3:00p.m. for a time of fellowship when we will sing some songs old and new about Creation. If you are free, please come along. Tea / Coffee and goodies will also be available.

CHRISTIAN AID QUIZ – FRIDAY 22nd AUGUST 2025
The Annual Christian Aid Quiz held at Cairnlea Parish Church has achieved the sum of £548.00. It was an excellent night raising this amount, raising the roof with laughter, boos and shouts of derision and raising spirits from an evening well spent.
And if you’re wondering which team won …? It was the New Wellwynd + team after years of coming last.
