SCHOOL CHAPLAINCY – AIRDRIE ACADEMY CHRISTMAS APPEAL
Mrs. Lynn Carlin, a member of the Support Staff and acting principal of Wellbeing and Families, has emailed Les as part of the Chaplaincy Team to advise that they are about to start Christmas gift appeals at Airdrie Academy for families experiencing hardship.
The Support staff along with the Senior Pupil Family Ambassadors will be gathering small gifts for all family members that will be offered to a group of our pupils – between 130 – 200 this year.
As in previous years, the pupils will select gifts to take home for whoever cares for them (mum, dad, gran, grandpa, aunt, uncle) and also brothers and sisters. We are also collecting gift bags (medium / large) and family Christmas cards.
Over the next few weeks, a box will be provided to receive any small gifts for any family members, gift bags or family Christmas cards. If you are able to help and contribute towards this appeal – anything donated will be gratefully received. THANK YOU
